Cyber Security Lead

As a Lead Cyber Security Engineer at DigiValet, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of both on-premise and cloud-based systems. Your responsibilities will include: - **Security Patching:** Regularly update server security patches to protect systems from vulnerabilities. - **Vulnerability Assessment:** Assess and mitigate vulnerabilities for on-premise and cloud solutions to enhance overall security. - **Incident Handling:** Respond to cybersecurity incidents and manage DEFCON alerts efficiently. - **Server Hardening:** Implement measures to secure servers and prevent unauthorized access. - **Identity and Access Management:** Manage SSO, Federated Identity Solutions, remote access, and PAM for enhanced security measures. - **Endpoint and Network Security:** Ensure endpoint security and review VPN ACLs to maintain a secure network. - **Database and Application Security:** Secure databases, manage access, and assess web/mobile app security to safeguard sensitive information. - **Penetration Testing:** Conduct penetration testing to identify and address vulnerabilities proactively. - **SIEM:** Utilize SIEM tools, HIDS, and NIDS to monitor and detect security incidents effectively. - **Compliance and Reporting:** Conduct compliance reporting based on CIS controls, research, and patching; prepare security RFPs to ensure regulatory adherence. - **Lead and Mentor a team of Engineers:** Lead and mentor a team in executing large-scale projects while ensuring quality and timely delivery. - **Facilitate Team Collaboration and Knowledge-Sharing:** Promote smooth communication and continuous improvement of processes within the team. - **Conduct regular performance evaluations:** Provide constructive feedback to help team members grow professionally. - **Coordinate and lead regular team meetings:** Discuss project status, challenges, and solutions to ensure effective collaboration. **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a similar role. - Proficiency in server security patching and vulnerability assessments. - Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including malware analysis and incident handling. - Experience with server hardening, endpoint security, and Linux security on RHEL and Ubuntu. - Familiarity with SSO, federated identity solutions, PAM, VPN ACLs, database security, and application security. - Hands-on experience with penetration testing, SIEM tools, and compliance reporting. - Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, communication, and teamwork abilities. **Preferred Certifications:** - CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) - CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) - CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) - CompTIA Security+ At DigiValet, you will find a friendly working environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and professional growth.
