8 – 9 Years (with significant exposure to cyber security roles)

• Lead the organization’s cyber security strategy, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee implementation and monitoring of security controls, risk assessments, and incident response.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Manage security operations, including threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and security awareness programs.
• Collaborate with IT, business, and external partners to ensure robust security posture.
• Evaluate and deploy new security technologies and solutions.
• Lead investigations of security breaches and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management on security status, incidents, and improvements.

The candidate should demonstrate hands-on expertise and working knowledge of leading cyber security tools and platforms, including but not limited to:

• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM):
• Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR):
• Vulnerability Assessment & Management:
• Firewall & Network Security:
• Identity & Access Management (IAM):
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP):
• Threat Intelligence & Analysis:
• Cloud Security:
• Penetration Testing & Red Team Tools:
• Email Security:
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance tools (e.g., for ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)

• Effective mitigation of cyber risks and threats.
• Timely detection and response to security incidents.
• Compliance with internal and external security standards.
• Continuous improvement of security processes and awareness.
• Successful completion of security audits and assessments.

• Leadership & Influence: Ability to lead cyber security teams, gain stakeholder buy-in, and drive security improvements.
• Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Quickly identify and resolve security issues impacting business operations.
• Communication & Stakeholder Management: Clearly convey technical and business information to executives, engineers, vendors, and senior management.
• Adaptability & Change Management: Manage resistance to security process changes and adapt to evolving cyber threats and technologies.
• Collaboration & Teamwork: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security solutions.

Candidates should possess one or more of the following certifications (or equivalent):

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• Certified Information Systems Auditor(CISA)

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are preferred.
