Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures to protect the organization's information systems.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security breaches promptly.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the security of hardware and software systems.
• Provide training and awareness programs to staff on security best practices.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology solutions.
• Perform regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, and authentication technologies.
• Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint security solutions.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey security issues and solutions to non-technical staff.
