Cyber Security Engineer

ABOUT ROLE:

The engineer in this role is expected to perform cyber security assessment, design implementation and network design of control system, understanding the client requirements and ensuring correct design.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES / WHAT WE EXPECT:

• Implement department guidelines and adhere to standards while designing the hardware.
• Implement client requirements and IEC 62443 requirements pertaining to scope.
• Responsible for delivering Cyber Security Scopes on projects
• Provide inputs to Network Topology required on a project.
• Develop Functional Design Specifications.
• Responsible for writing test cases for various security aspects of networks and

configurations.

• Develop asset registers and self-assessment forms for all network / security devices.
• Liase with product team for changes to suit client requirements on projects
• Responsible for Design Reviews including Checklist, and documentation.
• Knowledge sharing with team members.
• Regularly notify the lead about project progress.

Educational Qualifications

Graduate in Engineering / Science

CCNA Global Certification

Any other valid certification for Cyber Security / IEC 62443

Functional Skills / Key competencies

• Knowledge of Network Architecture Design
• Knowledge of OT Network in Control System Design
• Good knowledge of IEC 62443 and Cyber security in OT Environment
• Hands on experience on Ethernet Switches, Router and Firewalls (especially Cisco / Palo Alto

/ Allan Bradley makes)

• Good knowledge of Routing Protocol.
• Good Knowledge of Spanning tree protocol, stacking of switches, Troubleshooting knowledge

of loop in the network, VTP domain, L3 and L2 switches.

• Firewall Packet flow, TCP and UDP protocol, Troubleshooting skill for firewall related issue,

ACL filtering, TCP and UPD port functionality.

• Good troubleshooting skill.

Good knowledge of VISIO for Network diagram.

• Self-motivated and ability to lead small teams.
• Good communication skills - Both verbal and written.

Relevant and total years of Experience

Total:

- Total work experience of more than 8+ years in Cyber Security in OT Environment

Relevant:

- Practical experience of more than 3 years in Cyber Security in OT Environment in Automobile/material handling/Special purpose machines/Process/Oil & Gas Industry

• Self-Driven, Proactive
• Ability to work in Globally Distributed setting without supervision.
