Cyber Security Engineer

Responsible:

Consult, advise and participate in the design of various IT processes and controls to support compliance initiatives.

Identify and evaluate controls that mitigate technology/security risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement.

Responsible for configuration and customization of various modules like Policy, Compliance, Audit and compliance

Drive the awareness activity of cyber security across organization

Look after the spoke locations security area and guide on the standards to be followed and managed

Responsible for getting fix the issues of finding identified during audit and other VAPT activity

Work with SOC and Unit IT team to address the SOC findings

Experience and Knowledge:

Deep understanding of Internet security issues and the threat landscape

Strong, well-rounded background in host, application security and network

Understanding security fundamentals and common vulnerabilities (e.g. OWASP Top Ten)

Familiarity with web/mobile technology and web/mobile security, as well as popular protocols

Solid understanding of application security enabling technologies across the development lifecycle

Experience with security products and mobile security

Familiarity with and understanding of security features and application protocols such as FTP, DNS, SIP, Radius, Diameter , GTP,S CTP, SS7 etc. is a plus.

Prior working knowledge on web , mobile and cloud security .

Understanding of DDoS Attacks and its mitigation strategies.

Understanding of OWASP controls,

Understanding of SOC functions

Detail understanding of TCP/IP . How packets are consumed, processed and orchestrated

Education/Experience Required:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Info Security, or related field or relevant work experience.

Minimum 3 to 4+ years acting role in the Security domain.

Info security/IT relevant certification is desired
