Cyber Security Analyst

Role Overview: As a Cyber Security Analyst at ISP India Private Limited, you will be a crucial member of the IT- Cyber Security team based in Hyderabad. In this role, you will play a significant part in the day-to-day cyber security operations within the company. Your responsibilities will include alert triage, incident response activities, documentation, and supporting the overall operations of the security platform. Key Responsibilities: - Triage cyber security alerts within a SOAR platform on a daily basis - Follow defined triage processes for escalating events - Utilize the Data Loss Prevention triage workflow for event escalation - Engage in incident response activities as part of a team of analysts - Document event analysis and prepare comprehensive reports on incident response activities - Provide support for the operations of the security platform - Troubleshoot network and application protocols - Demonstrate expertise in sensitive investigation procedures and processes - Knowledge of Python coding is a plus - Familiarity with malware analysis is advantageous Qualifications Required: - Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience in Information Security - Understanding of fundamental to intermediate security, systems, and network concepts - Proficiency in using Splunk for security operations - Experience working with Unix-based operating systems - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to independently research and resolve technical issues - Uphold integrity in a professional setting Additional Company Details: ISP India Private Limited is a part of Ashland LLC (NYSE: ASH), a leading global specialty chemicals company.
