Customer Service Ocean Export

As an experienced professional in the freight forwarding industry, your role will involve preparing export shipping documentations such as B/L, invoices, packing list, permits, and other related documents. You will be responsible for liaising with customers, trucking, hauler, carriers, and CFS/port to ensure smooth operations. Additionally, you will manage forwarding activities by arranging pick-ups for both LCL and FCL shipments. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and generate invoices, sending them out to customers promptly - Scan documents into the system and send pre-alerts to relevant parties - Prepare export customs, AMS & ACI, AP (export) reports, and other necessary documentation - Update milestones in compliance with global standards to meet Milestone Compliance KPI - Maintain and update navigator and checklist for efficient tracking - Verify and reconcile vendors" invoices, among other financial tasks - Handle customer complaints and assist in resolving issues related to export activities - Create job files, raise POs, and invoice billing according to billing KPIs - Undertake any other tasks assigned by management from time to time In addition to the above responsibilities, you may also be required to assist in export customs, AMS & ACI, AP (export) reports, and others as needed. Qualifications Required: - More than 5 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry - Solid knowledge in ocean export customer service and operations - Export operation knowledge is a plus As for key behavioral competencies, you should possess comprehensive English capabilities, be agile, positive, and proactive, and exhibit excellent analytical and communication skills. Education/Technical Skills: - University graduate with a major in Supply Chain Management - Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite Your expertise and experience in the industry will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of export activities and maintaining high standards of service for our customers.,
