About The Role

Project Role :Custom Software Engineer

Project Role Description :Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.
Must have skills :Functional Test Planning

Good to have skills :Core Banking, Payment Processing Design
Minimum 12 year(s) of experience is required

Educational Qualification :15 years full time education
Summary:As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions that involve designing, coding, and enhancing components across various systems or applications. Your typical day will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing modern frameworks, and applying agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions that meet specific business requirements. You will engage in problem-solving and innovation to ensure that the software solutions are tailored to the unique needs of the organization, contributing to the overall success of projects and initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME.

Collaborate and manage the team to perform.

Responsible for team decisions.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.

Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall performance.

Continuously assess and improve software development processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:

Proficiency in Functional Test Planning.

Ability to write high-quality test scenarios and test cases

Strong analytical skills for identifying test coverage and/or risk-based testing

Able to define positive, negative, boundary, and alternate flows

Can understand User Stories or BRD

Domain Knowledge - Has experience working in any financial industry so designer can understand corporate banking and will be easier to design test cases

Can coordinate with BA, Dev, Client for any clarification/questions or can provide test case walkthrough to client

Experience in Test management tools (i.e Jira with Xray)
Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Functional Test Planning.

This position is based at our Chennai office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
Qualification 15 years full time education
