Curriculum Developer

As a Curriculum Developer, your primary responsibility will be to design the overall curriculum structure for a game-based learning platform. You will be tasked with identifying the competencies necessary to master each aspect of the curriculum and collaborating closely with the development team to generate ideas and concepts for games related to each competency. Your role will also involve creating the curriculum for each game and conducting thorough testing to ensure that it aligns with the desired educational standards. Furthermore, you will be responsible for crafting engaging stories, rhymes, and other content tailored for early readers. In addition, you will organize and facilitate usability testing sessions with children in preschools, kindergartens, and day-care centers to gather valuable feedback. Your contribution to the recruitment process for new talent will be essential in meeting the organization's evolving needs. To qualify for this role, you must possess a deep passion for working towards a social cause and positively impacting the lives of underprivileged children in developing countries. You should have either three years of experience in developing English or Maths curriculum for early childhood education, or three years of experience teaching English or Maths to children in kindergarten or grades 1-3. Alternatively, a combination of three years of curriculum development and teaching experience will be considered. A Master's degree in English, Education, Communication, Psychology, Maths, or a related field is required for this position. The ability to effectively manage multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment is crucial. Your success in this role will be supported by your scrappy, entrepreneurial attitude and drive to deliver high-quality projects quickly. Proficiency in spoken and written English is a must. Preferred qualifications include experience in building computer-based learning programs for young children, creating assessments to evaluate learning outcomes, and possessing comprehensive knowledge of the latest academic research and best practices in early childhood education. Additionally, familiarity with working in a distributed team setting would be advantageous.,
