Position: CTVS Consultant Qualification: M. CH (CTVS)

Experience: 5 years Location: Aarvy Healthcare, GGN

Position Summary:

The CTVS Consultant plays a crucial role in the evaluation and treatment of patients with cardiovascular diseases through specialized surgical procedures. As a senior healthcare professional, the consultant is responsible for leading complex operations, ensuring the highest standards of care, and improving patient outcomes in the field of Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgery (CTVS). The role demands extensive expertise in surgical techniques, diagnostic approaches, and post-operative care, all while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. This position not only contributes to the surgical department s goals but is also pivotal in educating and mentoring junior staff and medical students.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with cardiovascular diseases.

· Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

· Perform complex surgical procedures including open-heart surgeries, vascular repairs, and minimally invasive techniques.

· Monitor post-operative recovery and manage complications effectively.

· Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthetists, and nursing staff for comprehensive patient care.

· Participate in departmental meetings to discuss patient cases and surgical outcomes.

· Provide education and mentorship to junior doctors and surgical residents.

· Lead community outreach programs to promote cardiovascular health awareness.

· Engage in clinical research to stay abreast of advancements in CTVS.

· Implement best practices for surgical procedures and patient safety.

· Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory standards and hospital protocols.

· Utilize advanced diagnostic tools for patient assessment and monitoring.

· Prepare and present cases at medical conferences and seminars.

· Oversee and improve the quality assurance processes for surgical cases.

· Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patient interactions.

Required Qualifications:

· M.Ch./ DNB in CTVS degree from an accredited institution.

· Completion of residency in General Surgery.

· Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery.

· Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.

· Extensive knowledge of cardiovascular pathophysiology.

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in CTVS.

· Demonstrated surgical proficiency in CTVS procedures.

· Strong understanding of pre-operative and post-operative care.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Research experience and publications in peer-reviewed journals.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

· Commitment to continuous professional development and education.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Proficient in using healthcare information systems.

· Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
