As a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at SimplifyVMS, your primary responsibility will be to lead the global technology organization by defining and executing the company's technology roadmap aligned with business goals and customer success. Your role will involve championing innovation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and overseeing the full software development lifecycle to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality SaaS products. Additionally, you will be responsible for leading, growing, and mentoring a distributed team of over 100 engineers, building world-class engineering capabilities, and aligning engineering and product teams to deliver seamless customer experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Define and execute the company's technology roadmap aligned with business goals and customer success. - Champion innovation, including the adoption of AI-driven development and coding automation practices. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and high performance. - Oversee the full SDLC to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of high-quality SaaS products. - Implement agile and DevOps best practices to drive speed, quality, and scalability. - Optimize technology costs by streamlining teams, right-sizing cloud infrastructure, and bringing in other process efficiencies. - Lead, grow, and mentor a distributed team of over 100 engineers. - Build world-class engineering capabilities through strategic hiring, upskilling, and organizational design. - Serve as a key liaison between engineering, product, and business leadership. - Clearly communicate technical strategies, progress, and challenges to stakeholders. - Drive alignment across departments to ensure cohesive and successful execution. Key Qualifications: - 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in technology roles with a strong focus on B2B SaaS. - Proven history of delivering complex software solutions on time and within budget. - Deep technical expertise in MEAN Stack, PHP/Laravel, AWS Cloud, DevOps/CI/CD best practices, data engineering, and scalable architecture. - Strong understanding and adoption of AI-driven coding automation and modern development tools. - Experience managing 100+ engineers in global, cross-functional teams. - Deep experience in technical hiring, talent development, and team mentoring. - Strong communication and leadership skills. - Goal-oriented, delivery-obsessed mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
