On one side you have over a million college graduates every year with barely 5% employability rates and on the other side, there are thousands of companies struggling to find talent Newton School aims to bridge this massive gap through its personalised learning platform We are building an online university and solving the deep problem of employability of graduates, We have a strong core team consisting of alumni from IIT's and IIMs, having several years of industry experience in companies like Unacademy, Inmobi, Ola, Microsoft among others On this mission, we are backed by some of the most respected investors around the world, RTP Global, Nexus Venture Partners and a slew of angel investors including CREDs Kunal Shah, Flipkarts Kalyan Krishnamoorthy, Unacademy and Razorpay founders, Udaans Sujeet Kumar among others, About The Role Were looking for a SME who can turn numbers into stories and insights that drive placements and outcomes This role blends analytics with real-world impact?working closely with students and internal teams, What Youll Do Analyze datasets (student performance, placement data, job trends) to generate actionable insights, Build dashboards and reports to track placement metrics and learning outcomes, Partner with placement and learning teams to identify skill gaps and improve job readiness, Present insights to non-technical stakeholders?students, mentors, partner companies, Ensure data quality and drive best practices in collection and reporting, Stay updated on hiring trends in data/AI-ML domains, What Youll Bring 1-4 years of experience in Data Analytics; edtech or placement experience is a plus, Strong skills in SQL, Python/R, and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc,), Excellent communication skills and comfort in customer-facing discussions, Analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complex data, Nice To Have Experience in placement enablement or skill-gap mapping, Understanding of AI/ML job market trends,
