Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure and answering queries.
Position patients correctly to obtain quality diagnostic images.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during the procedure.

Operate and maintain CT scan machines and related equipment.
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as per prescribed protocols.
Monitor image quality and make adjustments as required.

Follow radiation safety guidelines and use protective measures.
Adhere to infection control and hospital safety policies.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Perform daily calibration and quality checks of CT equipment.
Report any technical faults to the service/maintenance team.
Ensure proper care and upkeep of machines and workstations.

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma / B.Sc. in Radiology / Imaging Technology (DMLT, B.Sc. MIT or equivalent).
Certification/training in CT Scan technology preferred.
13 years of relevant experience (freshers with CT training can also apply).
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and imaging techniques.
