CSE / IT / AIDS Faculty

As an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) / Information Technology (IT) & Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AIDS) department at Alpha College of Engineering_Thirumazhisai, you will be responsible for contributing to the academic and research endeavors of the department. Your role will involve fostering a dynamic learning environment for students and engaging in cutting-edge research activities. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Teaching:** - Develop and deliver high-quality lectures, labs, and tutorials in CSE/IT/AIDS courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. - Implement innovative teaching methods and leverage technology to enhance the learning experience. - **Curriculum Development:** - Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the CSE/IT/AIDS curriculum, ensuring alignment with industry trends and academic standards. - Design new courses or update existing ones to reflect advancements in the field. - **Research:** - Conduct and publish impactful research in reputable journals and conferences within the field of CSE/IT/AIDS. - Collaborate with colleagues and students on research projects, seeking external funding when applicable. - **Student Mentorship:** - Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students on academic and career-related matters. - Supervise student projects, theses, and dissertations. - **Professional Development:** - Stay current with advancements in CSE/IT/AIDS through continuous learning, attending conferences, and engaging in professional development activities. - Contribute to the scholarly community through participation in academic conferences and other professional forums. - **Community Engagement:** - Actively participate in departmental and university committees. - Establish connections with industry partners and engage in collaborative projects. - **Assessment and Evaluation:** - Design and implement effective assessment strategies to evaluate student learning outcomes. - Provide constructive feedback to students and contribute to programmatic accreditation efforts. **Qualifications:** - M.Tech/Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, or Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. - Demonstrated expertise in one or more areas of CSE, IT, or AIDS. - Strong record of or potential for scholarly research and publications. - Minimum 1 year of Teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
