Job Description

About the Role:

Cross Browser Tester

Key Responsibilities:

Perform
cross-browser and cross-device testing
to ensure application compatibility across Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and mobile browsers.
Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, qTest).
Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to ensure quality and consistency.
Execute
manual and automation test cases
for UI and functional testing.
Validate responsive design and user experience across various screen sizes.
Prepare detailed
test reports
and communicate testing results effectively.
Work with tools like
LambdaTest
,
BrowserStack
, or
Sauce Labs
for real-time testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

2 years of experience
in web application testing.
Good understanding of
cross-browser testing
,
responsive design validation
, and
UI testing
.
Hands-on experience with
LambdaTest
,
BrowserStack
, or similar tools.
Strong knowledge of
manual testing
concepts and basic understanding of
automation frameworks
(like Selenium).
Familiarity with
Agile/Scrum
methodologies.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience with
API testing
(Postman, REST Assured).
Basic scripting knowledge (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
