Birla Open Minds School, Bandlaguda Jagir, is a progressive institution dedicated to holistic education that blends academic excellence with 21st-century skills. As part of our commitment to experiential learning, we offer the Creya STEM and Design Thinking Lab — a space where students explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math through hands-on, project-based learning.

We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Creya Lab Technician to manage and support lab operations and assist teachers and students in their STEM learning journeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Creya Lab, including setup, maintenance, and inventory of tools, materials, and equipment.
• Assist faculty in facilitating Creya modules, projects, and activities for students across various grades.
• Provide technical support during lab sessions, ensuring a safe and efficient learning environment.
• Maintain records of student work, equipment usage, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with the Creya curriculum team and school staff to implement and adapt lab activities effectively.
• Ensure that all lab activities adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Science, Engineering, or Technology (preferred disciplines: Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, or related fields).
• Prior experience working in a STEM or maker lab setup is preferred.
• Basic understanding of tools and materials used in robotics, electronics, and design projects.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students and teachers.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing equipment and schedules.
• Comfortable with basic computer usage and digital documentation.
