Since its establishment in 2010, VR Maritime Services Private Limited (VRM) has flourished into a prominent maritime company. With a workforce of over 5000 skilled seafarers, VRM operates a diverse fleet of vessels, including bulk carriers, oil tankers, chemical tankers, gas carriers, offshore vessels, containers, and heavy lift vessels.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Crewing Officer, located in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Crewing Officer will be responsible for managing crews, coordinating crewing operations, and ensuring compliance with shipping regulations. Daily tasks include crew scheduling and deployment, maintaining crew records, liaising with ship management, and resolving any crew-related issues that arise.

Qualifications

Skills in Managing Crews and Crewing
Strong Communication skills
Experience in Crewing Operations Management
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or related field
Previous 2-3 yrs crewing experience in the maritime industry is must.
