Crew Coordinator

Job Overview:
Star Sea Management is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual for the role of Crew Coordination Executive. This role involves managing communication and documentation for seafarers, coordinating with shipping companies, and ensuring smooth onboarding and deployment of crew members.Kindly note all our clients are international we require global coordination and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source qualified seafarers rank-wise from multiple recruitment platforms and internal databases.
• Evaluate and match candidate profiles with vessel type, trading area, and specific client requirements.
• Verify the authenticity and validity of all documents, certificates, and sea-service records before client submission.
• Coordinate the complete crewing cycle—interviews, client approvals, travel arrangements, joining formalities, and onboarding support.
• Identify, research, and approach new potential shipping companies to expand the client base.
• Present and pitch company services effectively, nurture leads, and maintain strong long-term client relationships.
• Arrange introductory calls or Zoom meetings with prospects, follow up consistently, track lead progress, and convert prospects into active clients.

Requirements:

• Good English communication (written and spoken)
• Strong coordination and follow-up skills
• Basic computer skills (Google Sheets, Docs, email, etc.)
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple crew files
• Willingness to learn industry-specific processes (training will be provided)
• Prior experience is not mandatory – candidates with strong communication and coordination skills are welcome

• Organized and proactive in completing tasks
• Good relationship management with crew and clients
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
