CREO Designer

We are seeking a skilled CREO Designer with at least 2 years of experience in the foundry or casting industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and managing 3D CAD models and technical drawings for foundry components using CREO software. Prior experience in core box design, pattern development, and casting process understanding is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using CREO (Pro/ENGINEER).Develop core box, gating system, and pattern designs as per foundry requirements.Collaborate with the production and tooling teams to ensure design feasibility and accuracy.Interpret and convert technical inputs like hand sketches, sample parts, or legacy drawings into CAD models.Modify existing models and drawings based on feedback and technical reviews.Ensure compliance with design standards and best practices in casting and machining.Assist in DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and participate in new product development projects.Maintain proper documentation and version control for all design files.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in CREO (Pro/E) in a foundry or casting setup.Sound knowledge of foundry processes like sand casting, shell moulding, and machining allowances.Good understanding of GD&T, tolerances, and engineering drawing standards.Familiarity with other design tools (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) is a plus.Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred
