Credit Reporting Lead

Key Responsibilities

Credit Management & Evaluation

• Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers through detailed analysis of financial data and credit reports.
• Approve or reject creditworthiness based on established guidelines and risk assessments.

Reporting & Analysis

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of credit-related data and financial reporting.
• Implement effective credit reporting processes and systems to support transparency and compliance.
• Ensure timely completion of reporting requirements.

Team Leadership & Management

• Supervise, mentor financial analysts and support staff within the credit department.
• Allocate tasks efficiently, ensuring proactive management of workloads and timely completion of deliverables.
• Promote a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement in credit operations.

Compliance & Process Improvement

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Continuously review and enhance credit control processes to improve efficiency and mitigate risk.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education:

  Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CS or additional financial certification preferred).

• Experience:

  Proven experience as a Credit Manager, Credit Analyst, or in a similar credit risk or financial analysis role.

• Technical Skills:

  Strong proficiency in Excel, and credit risk analysis.

• Analytical Skills:

  Exceptional ability to evaluate financial data and develop actionable insights.

• Communication:

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly.

• Attention to Detail:

  Strong eye for detail and accuracy in reporting and analysis.

• Leadership:

  Demonstrated experience in managing teams and fostering professional development.
