Job Description

Job Title: Credit Manager / Senior Credit Manager Credit & Underwriting (EV Vehicles)

Location:

Role Overview:

Credit Manager / Sr. Credit Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, analyze, and underwrite loan applications for
EV vehicles
and related segments.
Conduct detailed credit analysis including financial statements, cash flows, banking trends, and repayment capacity.
Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, risk frameworks, and regulatory guidelines.
Make sound credit decisions within delegated authority and recommend higher exposures to senior management.
Monitor portfolio performance and highlight early warning signals (EWS).
Collaborate with business teams to ensure healthy credit growth without compromising asset quality.
Review and update credit policies, scorecards, and underwriting models specific to EV financing.
Train and guide junior credit officers on underwriting practices and policy compliance.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of
credit underwriting, risk assessment, and NBFC/banking practices
.
Experience in
vehicle finance
(preferably EVs, commercial vehicles, or auto loans).
Analytical ability with attention to detail and sound judgment.
Good knowledge of
regulatory guidelines (RBI, NBFC norms)
.
Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, financial modeling, and credit evaluation tools.
