Credit Manager-Rural Credit-Business Banking Underwriting

Job Description: As a Credit Manager-Rural Credit in Business Banking Underwriting, your role is to assess, evaluate, review, and approve proposals for business banking relationships, focusing on retail credit. You will be responsible for maintaining agreed service level deliverables and effectively managing the portfolio, including monitoring, early warning identification, deferral tracking, renewals, and developing appropriate account strategies in line with the bank's risk appetite. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct credit appraisal of loan applications within defined guidelines and make recommendations for approval to higher authorities. - Clearly communicate critical risks and suggest suitable mitigations related to the proposed transactions, covering aspects such as business model, industry risk, structure, bank conduct, and financial risk. - Have a good understanding of the proposed product and its suitability to the client's requirements. - Engage in personal discussions with customers to gather necessary information. Portfolio Monitoring: - Ensure timely renewals of accounts. - Manage deferrals effectively. - Monitor early warning signals within the portfolio. - Conduct customer visits for key customers and high-value relationships. Turnaround Time (TAT): - Maintain defined credit and end-to-end TATs to provide timely service to both internal and external customers. Qualification Required: - Graduation in any field. - 2-5 years of relevant experience in credit management.,
