Muthoot Microfin is part of the Muthoot Pappachan Group (MPG), a leading business conglomerate with operations across multiple verticals. Muthoot Microfin Limited is a prominent microfinance institution focused on providing micro-loans to women customers, primarily in rural regions of India. Adopting the joint liability group (JLG) model, the company organizes clients into groups of four to ten economically weaker women, promoting entrepreneurship and inclusive growth. Muthoot Microfin provides financial assistance through micro loans to women engaged in small businesses.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Credit Manager, located in Aruppukkottai. The Credit Manager will be responsible for managing credit operations, assessing credit risk, and ensuring effective credit management to support the company's microfinance activities. Daily tasks include evaluating loan applications, conducting credit analysis, monitoring loan performance, and developing strategies to mitigate credit risk. The Credit Manager will interact with clients, oversee credit policies, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Experience in the microfinance industry is an advantage
