Job Description

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the timely collection of overdue accounts and maintaining accurate financial records. Your role will involve developing effective follow-up strategies, identifying problematic accounts, and providing necessary documentation to customers. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement effective follow-up strategies for timely collection of overdue accounts. - Identify and escalate problematic accounts to management for further action. - Maintain detailed records of all communication and collection activities. - Provide customers with necessary documentation upon request. - Work closely with sales, customer service, and billing departments to address invoicing errors or disputes. - Process credit notes and debit notes accurately and timely. - Prepare and analyze aging reports to identify overdue accounts and potential bad debts. - Generate regular reports on collection performance and other key metrics. - Provide insights and recommendations to management for improving collection processes. - Identify opportunities to improve collection efficiency and accuracy. - Adhere to company policies, procedures, and relevant financial regulations. - Maintain confidentiality of financial information. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. - 2-5 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit control, or similar finance role. In this role, you will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Problem-solving skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and strong organizational skills are also essential. Additionally, you should be customer-focused with a professional demeanor and the ability to handle difficult conversations with composure. Please note that this is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance, leave encashment, paid time off, and provident fund. The work location will be in person, and you should be ready to travel extensively across India. Candidates from an industrial background are preferred, while those from banking, NBFC, and IT sectors are requested to excuse themselves.,
