Credit Control Executive

Monitor accounts receivable (AR) aging and ensure that outstanding receivables are collected within agreed credit terms.
Conduct credit assessments / due diligence for new customers; periodically review the creditworthiness of existing customers.Set and maintain customer credit limits and payment terms in line with company policy/risk parameters.Issue invoices, statements, and reminders; follow up with customers via calls, mail, and site visits if necessary, until payment is received.Coordinate with sales/operations/logistics teams to ensure correct invoicing, shipment documentation, and any PO/customer requirements to avoid payment delays.Resolve customer queries, disputes, or discrepancies related to invoicing, deliveries, or payments in coordination with relevant internal stakeholders.Maintain accurate records of all collection activity, payment promises, follow-ups, etc.Prepare periodic reports (weekly/monthly) on receivables, aging, DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), bad debts, provisions, etc., for management review.Work to reduce DSO, minimize bad debts, and ensure optimum cash flow.Liaise with external parties when required (banks, collection agencies, legal counsel) for escalated collections.Assist in budgeting/forecasting of cash flows and receivables.Ensure compliance with relevant company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
