This job is provided by apna.co The Credit Approval Representative (CAR) is responsible for communicating with and helping to qualify new customers that have applied for a payday loan. This is accomplished by helping customers through a series of qualification questions, updating the customers personal and employment information, and transferring qualified customers to Lending Agent for their state for a direct deposit of the approved funds.
  • Contact customers that have applied for a payday loan by manually calling every available personal and employer number provided by the customer.
  • Verify you are speaking to the customer by requiring them to state their name, email address and/or at least the last 4 digits of their social security number.
  • Ask a series of 5-10 qualification questions that determine if the customer is eligible to be approved for a payday loan.
  • Update or validate the customers personal and employer information on file ensuring it is accurate.
  • Succeed in helping the customer speak to a Lending Agent to have funds approved for deposit.
This position is responsible for being the voice of the company and is always expected to maintain passion, positivity, courtesy, commitment, and professionalism in the effort to help a customer succeed in being approved for a loan. This position is responsible for building trust and rapport with the customer.You will be fully trained and certified to provide exceptional customer service online and over the phone to customers applying with us for financial assistance. The future of financial products means customers do not need to go into their bank to borrow funds they can go online, and you will be a part of this future. 

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, both oral and written and is an excellent active listener.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and encouraging attitude and often communicating using positive words and phrases.
  • Natural ability to lead and control conversations while remaining positive, polite, and focused on creating a positive customer experience.
  • Understands the payday loan product ensuring relevant customer questions can be answered without hesitation or a need for assistance.
  • Able to accurately take notes while communicating (type and talk)
  • A typing speed of 40 words per minute or better.
