Job Description

Position: Credit Analyst-Real Estate & Infrastructure Sector (Investments focussed Family Office) Role: - Undertaking detailed analytical research on debt issuers (Corporate Bonds/NCD/MLD/Tax Free Bonds), mainly entities and Projects in the Real Estate & Infrastructure Sectors. Going through the annual reports, credit rating reports, building financials model to understand repayment capability of issuer with financial ratio and cash flow analysis, speaking to the Company/ industry experts/ Banks/ rating agencies to understand the issuer in detail - Benchmarking of financials and physical performance with peers in the industry to understand key strengths and weakness of corporates - Prepare investment note with key financials, pros and cons of the issuer and recommendation to the investment committee - Assessment of quality of security being offered and tracking security cover during the tenor of the facility - Closely monitor the credit exposures with review at quarterly intervals - Connect with direct market participants Brokers, Mutual Funds, Banks, Corporates, PDs, or Insurance companies for sourcing of RIETs, InvITs & bonds - Evaluating the AIF’s/ PMS’s/ MF’s investing in debt (Investment grade & high yield products) by speaking to the product manufacturers and taking feedback from the market & preparing the note to be presented to the investment committee Requirements: - Qualification: CA/ MBA/CFA. CA is preferred. - 3-6 years of work experience, preferably in credit rating/credit appraisal is a prerequisite. Exposure to credit analysis of entities and Projects in the Real Estate or Infrastructure Sectors is required - Robust Analytical skills and ability to form a credit opinion - Preferably some background in dealing directly with corporates/ financial services entities as part of the analytical role. Must possess strong financial analysis skills, including developing forecasts, peer/ industry analysis and ability to identify key drivers for any given issuer Location: Hyderabad This position is for a Client of Vertex Corporate Services which is a Large Family Office focussed on Investments
