Position Title:

Overview:

The Creative Head (Graphic Design) leads the visual and creative direction of all design projects. This role combines creativity, leadership, and strategy to ensure all branding, marketing, and design materials align with the organizations goals and identity. The Creative Head manages and mentors the design team, oversees concept development, and ensures high-quality visual output across digital and print media.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Creative Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute the overall creative strategy in alignment with brand objectives.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and provide creative direction to the design team.
  • Oversee all visual communication—from concept to completion—across print, digital, and social media platforms.
  • Maintain consistency of brand identity and visual guidelines across all projects.
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, and production teams to ensure cohesive campaigns.

Design & Art Direction

  • Create and review high-quality designs, layouts, and concepts for marketing materials, branding, packaging, advertisements, and digital campaigns.
  • Provide final approval on all creative deliverables before release.
  • Innovate and stay updated with new design trends, software, and creative techniques.
  • Ensure a balance between creativity and commercial/brand objectives.

Team Management

  • Supervise and guide graphic designers, video editors, photographers, and other creative staff.
  • Assign projects, review performance, and provide constructive feedback to improve output quality.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and innovative design culture.
  • Manage timelines, workloads, and deadlines effectively.

Client / Stakeholder Coordination

  • Work closely with management, marketing heads, and clients to understand creative requirements.
  • Present ideas, mockups, and final designs to stakeholders for approval.
  • Adapt feedback quickly and maintain strong communication with all departments.

Project & Resource Management

  • Plan and allocate resources for multiple ongoing projects.
  • Ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, printers, or freelancers as needed.
  • Maintain a library of design assets, templates, and brand materials.

Other Design Areas (if applicable)

  • Oversee UI/UX design for websites and apps.
  • Supervise motion graphics, video content, and animation projects.
  • Support event branding, environmental graphics, and internal communication designs.
  • Contribute to photography, styling, and visual storytelling.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
  • 6–10 years of professional design experience with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role.
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Strong sense of typography, color, layout, and brand storytelling.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
