As Design Head, you will own and define the visual language for Protein Chef and all Lo Foods brands, leading the creative vision across packaging, brand identity, digital, content, and offline touchpoints.
You will build a scalable design system that can grow across 50+ SKUs and multiple categories, while establishing the processes and standards needed for a high-performance in-house design team.
This role will require you to mentor and develop designers, set up end-to-end design infrastructure including guidelines, templates, and asset libraries for every consumer-facing touchpoint.
? Own the visual identity of Protein Chef and all Lo Foods offerings
? Build and evolve scalable brand systems, visual guidelines, and design principles
? Ensure consistency and coherence across packaging, digital, social, website, and
offline touchpoints
? Lead packaging design for all new launches and redesigns across categories
? Define pack architecture, naming, claims hierarchy, colour systems, and variant
logic
? Ensure print readiness, colour accuracy, compliance, and FMCG best practices
? Balance functional clarity with strong shelf presence and aesthetic appeal
? Oversee and elevate all 360 brand creative including digital ads, performance
creatives, social content, brand campaigns, website, retail, events, and activation
? Bring strong visual storytelling that aligns with business goals and brand strategy
? Stay ahead of design trends, competitor visual language, and cultural cues
? Push creative boundaries while keeping the work rooted in brand fundamentals
and commercial objectives
? Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary in-house design team
? Build structured systems for briefs, reviews, feedback, timelines, and quality
control
? Create a culture of clarity, ownership, speed, and creative excellence
? Collaborate closely with Content, Social, Brand, Revenue, NPD, and Production
teams
? Manage printers, packaging vendors, freelancers, and external creative agencies
? Oversee artworks, mockups, colour proofs, pre-press, and press approvals
? Ensure brand intent, design quality, and fidelity are protected through the final
production mile
? 6+ years of experience in design, including 2+ years in consumer facing brands in
FMCG / Food / Beauty / Personal Care is a must
? Proven experience of leading and mentoring team
? Strong portfolio across packaging, branding, and digital
? Strong communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
? Experience collaborating closely with senior leadership and the CMO team on strategic initiatives
? Built or scaled design systems for challenger FMCG brands
? D2C/e-commerce creative experience
? Ability to translate consumer insights into design
? Experience with multi-variant packaging systems
