🍞 Job Description: Counter Sales Executive – Bakery Job Title:Counter Sales Executive – Bakery Department:Retail / Sales Timeings-(1PM TO 11PM) Reports To:Store Manager / Bakery Supervisor Key Responsibilities:Greet walk-in customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude. Assist customers in selecting bakery products such as bread, cakes, pastries, cookies, and other baked goods. Provide information about ingredients, shelf life, and preparation methods for products. Upsell daily specials, seasonal items, or promotional offers. Weigh, package, label, and bill items accurately at the counter. Handle customer queries, special orders, and complaints politely and efficiently. Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the counter and display area at all times. Replenish and arrange products in the display case to maintain an attractive presentation. Monitor freshness and remove expired or damaged items from display. Maintain accurate records of sales and daily transactions. Work closely with the baking team to keep stock levels updated. Required Qualifications & Skills:High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in bakery, retail, or food service is preferred. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices. Positive attitude, reliability, and ability to work in a team. Neat appearance and courteous behavior with customers. Preferred Experience:1–2 years in a bakery, café, or food retail environment. Familiarity with bakery products and basic food handling.
