Job Description

Job Summary: A Sales Promoter is responsible for generating interest in a company’s products - Chimney & Hobs by promoting them directly to customers, both in-store and in other promotional environments. The role involves engaging with potential customers, understanding their needs, and delivering persuasive sales presentations to boost product sales and brand awareness. Sales promoters play a key role in driving sales targets, conducting product demonstrations, and ensuring customers have a positive brand experience.   Key Responsibilities: 1. Product Promotion: o Actively promote and market products or services to potential customers in assigned locations (e.g., retail stores, trade shows, events, or through online platforms). o Conduct product demonstrations, highlight key features, and explain benefits to customers. o Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the products/services being promoted. 2. Customer Engagement: o Approach and engage customers with enthusiasm and a friendly attitude. o Assess customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and answer questions regarding products. o Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage brand loyalty and repeat business. 3. Sales Targets & Reporting: o Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets as set by the sales manager or team lead. o Track and report sales progress and customer feedback to management.  o Provide insight into customer preferences, competitor products, and market trends. 4. In-Store Activities: o Set up and maintain promotional displays, signage, and product samples in retail locations or other promotional venues. o Ensure the product area is well-organized, clean, and fully stocked to attract potential buyers. o Assist customers with purchases, payments, and product inquiries. 5. Market Intelligence: o Collect feedback from customers to help improve marketing strategies and product offerings. o Monitor competitor activities and promotions to stay informed of market trends. o Share customer insights and suggestions with the marketing team. 6. Event Participation: o Represent the company at trade shows, promotional events, and sales campaigns. o Engage with event attendees, providing information about the brand, products, and services.   ualifications:  High school diploma or equivalent (required); college degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred).  Previous experience in retail, sales, customer service, or promotions (preferred).  Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, depending on the promotional event schedule.  A professional, approachable appearance and demeanour.
