Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

- Understand customer needs and provide product recommendations.

- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback effectively and efficiently.

2. Sales:

- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.

- Meet or exceed sales targets by promoting products and upselling when appropriate.

- Stay informed about the latest promotions, products, and features to better assist customers.

3. Product Knowledge:

- Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services offered in the store.

- Offer demonstrations of products when applicable, highlighting key features and benefits.

4. Merchandising:

- Assist in maintaining an organized and visually appealing merchandise display.

- Ensure that shelves and counters are stocked and properly labeled.

5. Inventory Management:

- Report low stock levels to management and assist in inventory counts.

- Help receive and organize stock deliveries as required.

6. Team Collaboration:

- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer service.

- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.

7. Administrative Tasks:

- Maintain accurate records of sales, transactions, and customer interactions.

- Assist with daily cash register reconciliation at the end of the shift.

Qualifications:

Education:

- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in business or a related field is a plus.

- **Experience:**

- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.

Skills:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to engage with customers and build rapport quickly.

- Basic math skills and proficiency with POS systems and cash handling.

- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging customer situations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
