Costing & Estimation Manager

As an experienced Cost Estimation Specialist, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Utilize your extensive knowledge of Executional details to benchmark Material, Machinery, and Manpower usages across various project activities. - Convert your Execution Knowledge into accurate Cost estimations for all Bill of Quantities (BOQ). - Apply your expertise in cost estimation to international locations and adapt the knowledge to ensure accurate costing. - Develop standardized cost estimation sheets and Rate analysis for major activities. - Demonstrate your ability to understand technical aspects and effectively communicate with Vendors to address their queries promptly. - Establish and maintain relationships with subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations for Tenders and project execution. - Prepare Techno-commercial Proposals for project enquiries, including understanding scope, designs, drawings, and BOQ preparation. - Coordinate technical queries with clients to seek necessary clarifications or addendums in a timely manner. - Collaborate with relevant departments to align and coordinate for proposal preparation. - Manage tender reviews and deadlines according to client directions and requirements. - Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed. - Stay updated on new project bid opportunities. - Update cost estimations during the tender stage once a project is awarded and prepare budgets for project execution. - Prepare Management Information System (MIS) documents and reports for information and analysis. - Evaluate risks associated with project enquiries and keep the management informed and apprised.
