Costing & Estimation Manager

You should have a good knowledge of executional details with benchmarks of material, machinery, and manpower usages against varied project activities. Your role will involve converting execution knowledge into cost estimation of all Bill of Quantities (BOQ). It is important to have exposure to cost estimation for international locations or the ability to extrapolate knowledge for adequate costing. You will be responsible for developing standardization of cost estimation sheets and rate analysis for major activities. It is essential to understand all technical aspects and interact with vendors to provide quick answers to their queries. Building and maintaining relationships with subcontractors for competitive quotations for tenders and project execution is a key aspect of the role. Your tasks will include preparing techno-commercial proposals for project inquiries, which involves understanding the scope, designs, drawings, and BOQ preparation. You will also be preparing technical queries and coordinating with clients to seek required clarifications or addendums in a timely manner. Collaboration with relevant departments for proposal preparation and alignment with tender reviews and deadlines as per client requirements is crucial. You may need to conduct or attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as necessary. Remaining informed about new project bid opportunities and updating tender stage cost estimation once projects are awarded to prepare budgets for project execution are also part of the responsibilities. You will be expected to prepare Management Information System (MIS) documentations and reports for management information and analysis. Evaluating risks in project inquiries and keeping the management informed and appraised are important aspects of the role.,
