Job Summary

Costing & Development Executive | Senior Executive | AM

Key Responsibilities:

Costing & Estimation

• Prepare quotations and costings for corrugated, wooden, and plastic packaging products.
• Analyze material cost, labour, overheads, and logistics to create accurate cost sheets.
• Coordinate with Purchase and vendors for rate comparisons and material pricing.
• Review and update costing based on customer requirements and market trends.

Product Development

• Develop new packaging solutions as per customer specifications.
• Prepare samples, mock-ups, and technical drawings for client approval.
• Coordinate with Production, Design, and Quality for development trials.
• Ensure project timelines are met for all development activities.

Customer Coordination

• Interact with clients to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Visit client sites for measurement, data collection, or packaging review if required.
• Address customer queries related to costing, material selection, and design.

Technical & Documentation

• Prepare

  BOM

  (Bill of Material), technical specifications, and cost-related documentation.
• Maintain development reports and

  costing records

• Evaluate packaging performance and suggest cost-saving improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate in Mechanical

  (B-Tech Prefer)

  /Graduate in any other field , Packaging Technology, or relevant field.
• Mini. 5 years of experience in packaging costing (corrugation, wooden, plastic).
• Strong knowledge of GSM, wooden pallets, Boxes and plastic packaging materials.
• Ability to read technical drawings and convert them into cost estimates.
• Strong MS Excel skills; knowledge of design software is an added advantage.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
