As a Cost Estimator/Quantity Surveyor in Bangalore with 2-4 years of experience, your key responsibilities will include conducting thorough cost analysis to provide accurate estimates for projects. You will review design plans and specifications to identify requirements and potential cost-saving opportunities. Your role will involve estimating precise material costs and process & labor costs, as well as monitoring project costs to identify deviations from budgets. Collaborating closely with the Projects Team is essential to ensure timely tender submissions. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. Proven experience as a Cost Engineer or Quantity Surveyor in a well-established joinery is required. You must possess a strong knowledge of cost management principles and techniques, along with proficiency in relevant software tools like Excel, AutoCAD, and cost estimating software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and negotiation abilities, are crucial for success in this role.
