Cost Estimation Engineer

As a Cost Estimation Engineer (HVAC), your role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing technical drawings, coordinating with internal teams, and supporting project bids within the HVAC domain. Your responsibilities will include: - Prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC projects based on technical specifications, drawings, and tender documents. - Analyze project requirements and provide accurate material, labor, and equipment cost evaluations. - Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to gather necessary data for estimation. - Evaluate vendor quotations and negotiate cost-related aspects to ensure competitive pricing. - Assist in preparing bid proposals and BOQs (Bill of Quantities). - Monitor market trends, material costs, and labor rates to maintain updated cost databases. - Support project managers with cost control, budget tracking, and variance analysis. - Ensure compliance with company standards, client specifications, and industry codes. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Experience: - 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in cost estimation, preferably in HVAC projects.
