Job Title: Cost Controller

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Cost Controller to join our team in a dynamic textile showroom environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and managing all cost-related activities to ensure optimal budgeting, pricing, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

· Analyse and monitor showroom operating costs, including inventory, procurement, and sales margins.

· Develop cost standards and perform variance analysis.

· Maintain accurate records of cost information and prepare cost reports for management.

· Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.

· Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality or customer experience.

· Coordinate with purchasing, sales, and finance teams to streamline cost control measures.

· Support internal audits related to cost and inventory.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

· Proven experience in cost control, preferably in the retail or textile sector.

· Strong analytical and numerical skills.

· Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems).

· Attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Good communication and teamwork abilities.
