Job Title: Fashion Designer – Textile Showroom (Female Candidates Only) Location: Sundari Silks India, T. Nagar Branch, Chennai Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (Day Shift Only). 9.30am to 6pm. Pay: ₹25,000.00 – ₹30,000.00 per month Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Fashion Designer to join our textile showroom team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in women’s garment design and a passion for fabrics, trends, and artistic detailing. This role offers the opportunity to create innovative fashion pieces using our exclusive textile collections. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop creative and functional women’s wear using showroom textiles. Possess hands-on experience in garment construction specifically for women's clothing . Stay updated with current fashion trends, textile innovations, and customer preferences. Assist clients in selecting, styling, and customizing textiles and garments. Develop detailed sketches, mood boards, and technical specifications. Apply strong drawing and artistic skills for developing prints, embroidery, fabric painting, and conceptual designs . Supervise fabric selection, pattern making, fittings, and final construction. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field. 3 to 5 years of total work experience (preferably 2–3 years in women’s fashion and textiles). Excellent understanding of fabric types, pattern making, and draping techniques. Proven skills in garment development for women’s fashion . Artistic ability in drawing, print design, embroidery concepts, and fabric surface embellishment. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other fashion design software. Strong communication, styling sense, and customer interaction skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team. Interview Details: Location: Sundari Silks India, T.
