Cost Accounting Analyst

Role Overview: As a Financial Planning and Controlling expert at Hitachi Energy, your primary responsibility will be to compile, analyze metrics, identify trends, address challenges, communicate information to stakeholders, and provide recommendations to enhance financial performance. Key Responsibilities: - Take overall accountability for developing, standardizing, and maintaining Functional Controlling processes across the PGJV controlling operating model globally. - Manage end-to-end process management, including operational, technical, and process data-related aspects, as well as process performance oversight and steering throughout the entire PGJV finance organization. - Drive continuous process improvements, ensure process management, standardization, and innovation, participate in regular process performance validation, manage key process stakeholders interactions, and review identified process inefficiencies and misalignments. - Implement and align process governance, collaborate with CoE (Hub and Front office) and functional organizations to ensure process standards compliance, control process policies and procedures, review and approve Process change requests. - Embrace Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for your actions, while caring for colleagues and the business. Qualifications Required: - Hold a Master's Degree in Finance and Accounting or Professional Qualifications (CA or CMA). - Possess a minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience in Controlling and Accounting at functional and corporate levels, with at least 5 years of experience in Functional Controlling processes within matrixed multinational organizations. - Demonstrate proven Process Management knowledge and experience, such as finance process modelling and Business Process Management. - Have proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, a good understanding of IT systems like ERP, Planning & Reporting tools, and integrated solutions. - Exhibit proficiency in both spoken and written English language.
