Job Summary:

Cost Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain standard costing system for all garment products.
  
• Calculate actual production costs (fabric, trims, labor, overheads, etc.) and compare with standard costs to identify variances.
  
• Analyze and report cost variances, material usage, wastage, and overhead absorption.
  
• Collaborate with production and merchandising teams to understand cost drivers and suggest optimization strategies.
  
• Prepare cost sheets, product pricing analysis, and margin reports.
  
• Monitor inventory valuation and conduct physical inventory audits periodically.
  
• Support management in pricing decisions and profitability analysis.
