Role Overview This role is critical to the successful transformation of corporate banking systems under the Islamic banking model using Oracle Flexcube Universal Banking Solution (FCUBS) v14.5. The SME will bridge business requirements with technical feasibility, ensuring Shariah-compliant corporate banking operations across all integrated platforms.

• Solution Ownership: Lead the full lifecycle of Flexcube Corporate module transformation from conventional to Islamic banking standards, ensuring alignment with AAOIFI principles and local regulatory requirements.
• Requirements Engineering: Work with cross-functional stakeholders—Product Owners, Business Analysts, Compliance, and Tech leads—to elicit, validate, and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Configuration & Customization: Leverage FCUBS capabilities to configure corporate banking products such as Murabaha, Ijara, Istisna, and Sukuk. Ensure flexibility for multi-entity deployment, adapting to local Islamic banking nuances.
• Gap Analysis & Functional Alignment: Conduct rigorous analysis of existing corporate banking processes, identify gaps with Islamic banking workflows, and propose structured remediation and process redesign.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Support functional test case design, support SIT/UAT planning and execution, manage defect triage, and ensure timely resolution. Act as the first point of contact for business user clarifications during test phases.
• Integration Alignment: Ensure seamless end-to-end integration with OBDX Corporate channels, Atumverse platforms (onboarding & servicing), Treasury (Murex), and analytics/reporting platforms (OFSAA). Define integration touchpoints, service contracts, and field-level mappings.
• Documentation & Governance: Prepare detailed business requirement documents, functional specs, traceability matrices, walkthrough presentations, and sign-off artifacts. Maintain version control and adhere to project governance frameworks.
• Training & Enablement: Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for business users and IT support teams post go-live. Ensure operability and sustainability of Islamic banking modules within FCUBS.

Required Expertise

• Flexcube Domain Proficiency: Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Flexcube Corporate modules, ideally with v14.x implementations.
• Islamic Product Structuring: Deep understanding of Islamic financing principles— Murabaha, Mudarabah, Ijara, Istisna—and their application within Flexcube corporate modules.
• Banking Workflow Acumen: Strong grasp of corporate banking processes—trade finance, working capital, structured finance—and their regulatory implications.
• Functional-Technical Mapping: Ability to design FCUBS parameterization that accurately reflects business rules, product configuration, and compliance constraints.
• Integrated Architecture Awareness: Experience working with channel platforms (OBDX Corporate), onboarding journeys (Atumverse CASA & Deposits), and data flow across Treasury and OFSAA layers.

Preferred Skills

• Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge: Working knowledge of AAOIFI standards, regional Shariah requirements and risk mitigation protocols.
• Geographic Exposure: Prior experience delivering Islamic banking programs in GCC, Southeast Asia, or similar jurisdictions with strong Shariah governance.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional ability to navigate diverse stakeholder groups, manage expectations, conduct workshops, and drive collaborative solutions.
• Documentation Excellence: Capable of producing crystal-clear functional documents, executive presentations, and issue logs that pass scrutiny across audit and project boards.
