Corporate Paralegal

As a Corporate Paralegal at IDC, you will play a crucial role in managing corporate governance matters across the Americas and APAC regions while upholding governance standards in line with company policies and local regulations. Your responsibilities will include: - Overseeing and managing regional corporate records in secure document management systems to ensure accessibility and accuracy. - Managing statutory filings with local regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with filing requirements and deadlines. - Assisting in the incorporation, dissolution, or restructuring of entities in the region by collaborating with legal and finance teams. - Organizing and supporting board and shareholder meetings, including preparing notices, agendas, meeting packs, drafting resolutions, managing logistics, distributing materials, and ensuring timely follow-up actions. - Preparing, updating, and maintaining regional entity organizational charts and other structural documents. - Managing and updating key governance documents such as board and shareholder resolutions, minutes, company registers, and statutory documents to ensure accuracy and compliance. Qualifications required for this role: - University level degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate secretarial, governance, or compliance roles, preferably in a multi-jurisdictional environment. - Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team. - Strong understanding of corporate secretarial obligations and regulatory compliance within the region. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with great attention to detail. - Proficiency in corporate governance software, document management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, including experience with board portal software like Diligent. - Ability to manage complex projects, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.
