Corporate Paralegal

As a Legal Specialist at Wellversed in Gurgaon, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating corporate contracts, agreements, and business transactions. - Collaborating with external counsel to streamline legal processes effectively. - Supporting mergers and acquisitions, business restructuring, and related transactions. - Ensuring compliance with corporate governance, statutory, and regulatory requirements. - Managing intellectual property (IP), policy development, and ensuring compliance. - Maintaining the accuracy and legal compliance of all documents and contracts. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Proficiency in legal research tools and resources. - Strong understanding of corporate law, tax law, intellectual property law, and labor laws. - Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to simplify complex legal concepts for non-experts. In addition, you should meet the following experience criteria: - Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. - LL.B./LL.M. from a recognized institution. - Demonstrated experience in corporate law, contract drafting, and negotiation.
