Corporate Counsel (Legal & Compliance) or Legal & Compliance Associate

As a Corporate Counsel (Legal & Compliance) or Legal & Compliance Associate at Booking Holdings India's Center of Excellence (COE) in Bangalore, India, your role will involve assisting the COE Senior Legal Counsel in ensuring adherence to local laws, handling employee relations matters, and supporting Compliance & Ethics program initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with labor consultants to ensure compliance with labor laws applicable to the COE. - Assisting in employee relations activities such as creating and maintaining dashboards on employee matters, supporting fact-finding, and updating stakeholders on the status of employee relations matters. - Supporting Compliance & Ethics program initiatives by implementing and reporting on key initiatives, policies, training, and local compliance training. - Undertaking additional project work as needed to support the COE team and legal and compliance initiatives. The qualifications required for this role are: - A university degree or equivalent in scientific, business, or legal studies. - A law degree or equivalent from a reputable law school preferred (required for Counsel title).
