Corporate Consulting Specialist

The incumbent will collaborate with the Finance, Procurement, Administration, and IT departments under the guidance of the Chief Operating Officer (COO). Initially, the focus will be on conducting a comprehensive financial and systems audit for ISA. The role involves assessing current systems, ensuring quality assurance, accuracy, reliability, and compliance with global financial and procurement standards. Additionally, evaluating the effectiveness of IT systems supporting financial operations is a key aspect of the position. The responsibilities include: Systems Assessment: - Conduct a thorough assessment of existing systems to ensure they meet quality and compliance standards. - Implement measures to enhance system reliability and accuracy. Financial Reporting: - Analyze financial reporting protocols to ensure accuracy, compliance with global standards, and alignment with best practices. Procurement Systems Review: - Evaluate current procurement processes, regulations, policies, and technologies to identify gaps and suggest improvements for optimized resource utilization. Best Practices Implementation: - Research and propose industry best practices for finance and procurement systems to enhance performance and reliability. Process Improvement: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement streamlined processes and systems that enhance reporting capabilities and support decision-making. Vendor Management: - Oversee vendor relationships and ensure effective communication and collaboration. Training and Support: - Provide training and ongoing support to finance and procurement teams on new systems and processes to foster continuous improvement. Documentation: - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, systems evaluations, and improvement initiatives for future reference and audits. Qualifications: Education: - Chartered Accountant (CA/CPA) with a strong academic background in finance or accounting. Experience: - Minimum of 15 years experience in financial management, auditing, and procurement systems assessment, preferably in the renewable sector. Technical Skills: - Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP). Analytical Skills: - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex systems and drive process improvements. Communication Skills: - Strong written and verbal communication skills to present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels. Project Management: - Proven experience in managing projects with attention to detail and meeting deadlines.,
