Copywriter & Content Strategist

As a Copy Supervisor at One Four Seven, you will play a crucial role in leading narrative strategy, creating culturally resonant content, and overseeing a team of writers to deliver high-performance copy. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading copy development across various formats such as scripts, statics, social media content, and campaign lines. - Writing, reviewing, and guiding the creation of compelling content for different brands and platforms. - Translating marketing briefs into engaging stories for both Hindi and English-speaking audiences. - Demonstrating fluency in multiple tones like fun, sassy, sharp, humorous, and emotional. - Driving the creation of viral social content including reels, carousels, ad copy, and hooks. - Collaborating with strategy, design, and performance teams to craft effective content. - Staying updated on social trends and cultural hooks to ensure content relevancy. To be successful in this role, you should possess: - 4-6 years of professional copywriting experience, preferably in an agency setting. - Proficiency in both Hindi and English copywriting. - Deep understanding of performance marketing, CTR-friendly headlines, and thumb-stopping copy. - Strong campaign thinking skills to adapt ideas across different formats. - Experience in team leadership, managing a team of 2-3 copywriters. - Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle client-facing responsibilities. - Willingness to be available outside office hours when necessary. Bonus points if you have: - Worked on regional or vernacular campaigns. - Developed campaigns for Tier 2/3 audiences or Bharat-first platforms. - Knowledge of AI writing tools for enhanced speed and structure.
