Cook/Kitchen Hand - South Indian

Role Overview: You will be responsible for food preparation and cooking, ensuring high-quality and tasty dishes for daily meals. Additionally, you will manage kitchen operations, maintain health and safety standards, coordinate with the team, and handle record-keeping tasks efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare daily breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks according to the approved menu while ensuring taste, quality, and portion control. - Plan and cook both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes as needed, maintaining consistency in food quality and presentation. - Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation, proper storage of ingredients, and stock of raw materials. - Follow FSSAI or company food safety standards, maintain personal hygiene, and monitor food expiry to avoid cross-contamination and spoilage. - Coordinate with Admin/HR on daily headcount for meals, deliver meals on time during peak hours, and assist in special staff events. - Keep daily consumption records, inventory logs, and report any equipment issues or shortages to the supervisor. Qualification Required: - Proven experience as a Cook, preferably in a staff cafeteria/mess/hotel. - Basic knowledge of South Indian/North Indian cuisine. - Ability to efficiently manage bulk cooking, knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, and good time management skills. - Diploma in a related field is preferred.
