Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Cook for Mess located in Jammu. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for students and staff, maintaining cleanliness and safety in the kitchen and dining area, managing kitchen inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The Cook will also need to plan menus and accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in preparing and cooking a variety of meals
• Experience in menu planning and managing kitchen inventory
• Understanding of health and safety regulations
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant experience in a similar role
• Formal culinary training or certification is a plus
