Our meals are carefully curated to support the growth and development of young children, and we’re looking for a passionate cook who shares our values. Key Responsibilities 1.Prepare and cook nutritious meals and snacks as per the preschool’s pre-defined menus and recipes. 2.Ensure all food is cooked fresh daily and served in a timely manner. 3.Prepare a mix of Indian, continental dishes, and simple child-friendly desserts. 4.Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. 5.Follow food safety protocols and allergy guidelines specific to preschool-aged children. 6.Explain the food and its nutritional value to children in a simple, engaging, and age-appropriate manner (e.g., “Carrots help your eyes see better!”). 7.Adjust meal plans based on special dietary needs or allergies of enrolled children. 8.Work with management to improve recipes and include nutrient-rich, child-appropriate ingredients. 9.Maintain inventory and notify the administrator when supplies need to be replenished. 10.Ensure portion control and appropriate serving sizes for preschool-age children. 11.Participate in menu planning or food-related events as needed. Requirements - female candidates 1.Prior experience cooking for children or in a preschool, daycare, or school setting preferred. 2.Proficiency in Indian cuisine and basic continental dishes. 3.Ability to prepare healthy, balanced, and child-friendly meals. 4.Basic understanding of child nutrition and dietary needs. 5.Ability to engage with young children and explain food in a fun and educational manner. 6.Familiarity with food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation standards. 7.Good communication skills and a caring, patient attitude. 8.High school diploma or equivalent; culinary certification is a plus. Work Hours Monday to Friday, [ 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM], with occasional weekend events.
